Sochi Park supported the volunteer action "Ecomobil"

Our friends, the All-Russian volunteer eco-movement "Separate Collection", hold an important eco-event for the city on a monthly basis. Natalia Trubacheva, an environmental engineer at Sochi Park, also took part in the July action.

Ecomobil and Sochi Park have one common task – to explain why it is so important to separate waste and show by example how to do it correctly. For two days of the "green" campaign, it was possible to collect, for example, 345 kg of plastic bottles, 1845 kg of glass, 233 kg of corrugated cardboard, 168 kg of film, 155 liters of organic matter – the citizens brought this recyclable material to the special parking lots of the eco-car, and volunteers, among whom was our Natalia, helped to collect, sort, and then put it into recycling.

In Sochi Park, we also consider it important to sort recyclables and help our guests to do it correctly. Urns with infographics of metal, plastic and mixed waste are installed in the entertainment area. After recycling, the waste gets into Sochi Park's own sorting workshop, where employees prepare the waste for recycling. Thus, thanks to useful eco-initiatives, all plastic and other discarded materials do not end up in landfills, but become useful raw materials and get a second life.
